This is living proof that maternity photos don’t have to be boring or flat but can be bold and out of line with stunning results.
Pregnancy is a wonderful experience for you as a woman and for all the people around you.
A maternity photo shoot is an opportunity to feel like a pregnant woman and a model for a day. It is a collection of memories of a unique moment for you as future parents.
Many of the photo ideas were proposed by the expectant mother. We also met on another day to do an outdoor photo shoot that we would present in a future post.
How to dress for a pregnancy photo shoot in the studio?
Taking photos in the studio is very comfortable and also intimate. So, get something light, which allows you to show your belly. These are some more tips:
- strapless bra and neutral underwear
- bra and black lace underwear
- white / ivory lace bra and underwear
- regular jeans (not maternity ones) and women’s tops
- buttoned shirt
- long dress of a single color (for example sheath dress or a summer maxi dress)
- assorted clothes for other people participating (husband and children)
- other favorite accessories: jewelry, etc.
- all sentimental elements (e.g. ultrasound baby picture framed)
Wait until it is big, but not too big.
When to schedule the photo shooting? You would like your belly to be nice and big, but not so big that you struggle to stay in certain positions for a period of time. We recommend taking pictures when you’re around 30 weeks pregnant. It is when the belly is round but not heavy yet.
